The old Niel Pride genoa on my pdq 36 has been damaged by getting beaten up when the furler jammed. I liked the design of the sail but the material is problematic, very stiff and prone to mildew between the exterior coatings. As the boat is in Seattle, the mildew issue has made a mess out of the sail. The stiffness of the material contributed to the damage the sail took. Looking for current sailmakers for whom a pdq 36 genoa would not require retooling costs.
